Bioinformatics Internship

Summer 2010

The NYU Molecular Anthropology Laboratory's Bioinformatic internship is a six-week course for New York City high school students. Taught by Dr. Todd Disotell and Christina Bergey and supported by the Harlem Children Society, the course covers topics such as computer programming, molecular phylogeny, and data-mining. At the end of the internship, students will have completed their own independent project and gained a competency in programming in the Python language.
